Charaku -茶楽-

Received this adorable gift box from my dear friend Nadir in Tokyo Japan. Very traditional and unique with a Japanese tea powder matcha.

I tried ‘Seven colors flower Japanese Tea’ ‘lemongrass mix’ , the quality of the tea and the tea bag was very premium, I could make more than one cup from 1 single bag but I made only one to take in all the flavor, since the weather is a bit humid and hot I couldn’t able to try the tea earlier, the taste was a little too strong for my taste but I think the quantity of the water I used was less and i wish the string of the tea could be little longer so I can place it around the holder of my cup otherwise it slips inside the cup, the quality of pot and cups was also very good, they look really good on my table as well the handle of the pot made it very convenient to hold and use.
Having the tea and pot set made me feel like I have consuming something of a premium quality and that’s what I expect a product from Japan, there are still 2 more flavors of the tea that I would like to try, I consume more tea in the winters and I would love to send the feedback for the same if you like.
